Multi Disc Clutch Design In CATIA

Hi everyone, today I am sharing with you the Multidisc Clutch made in CATIA Dassault Systèmes

A multidisk clutch is a complex mechanical component used in various automotive and industrial applications. It is a critical part of a transmission system that allows for the smooth engagement and disengagement of power between the engine and the transmission.
In this post, we will explore the design of a multidisk clutch using CATIA, a leading 3D modeling software used in various industries, including aerospace, automotive, and manufacturing.
The multidisk clutch consists of several disks, which are held together by a pressure plate and a series of springs. When the clutch pedal is pressed, the pressure plate moves away from the disks, allowing the engine's power to be transmitted to the transmission. When the pedal is released, the pressure plate applies pressure to the disks, disengaging the engine from the transmission.
